The estate sale was located on Willow Avenue downtown near the now-under-construction baseball complex. The space was a large warehouse facility filled to the brim with furniture and knick-knacks from a by-gone era. It’s always so interesting to me to browse estate sales and know there’s an amazing story behind each item. From curio cabinets and dressers to large Victorian sofas to Waterford crystal – this estate sale had it all! We spent about 45 minutes perusing the warehouse – Brian and Haley found some great pieces for their new home.
After the estate sale, we headed downtown for the Farmer’s Market. We parked for free in the State Street Parking Garage and then headed over to Market Square. As always, the Farmer’s Market was bustling with people and there were a plethora of merchants with great products, fresh fruit and vegetables. We headed up to the patio at Preservation Pub for a cold refreshment, while enjoying the views of the passersby on Market Square.
To end the afternoon we had brunch at Café 4 on Market Square. To start, the table had Truffle Parmesan Fries. I had the Market Square Breakfast, consisting of 2 eggs, roasted potatoes, bacon and wheat berry toast. Brandon had the Belgian Waffle. Both DELICIOUS!
